i've heard this happens a lot on blogs...people go missing for days, sometimes weeks at a time. well, it has happened to me! not that i've gone anywhere...it was mostly a combination of forgetting my username/password combo and forgetting where the website was. =) gotta love getting older eh?
anywho...i made some new jewelry this past week....stranded in at home, with just a pair of pliers and some copper...and a hammer....and well, chocolate and beer too!
had a great time making this one...and sold it the very next day...at least I got to wear it once!
gotta get running..more jewelry to make!

evening all and howdy do!
my name is carrie, i hate writing with capital letters and this is my first blog. we'll see if i can keep up with it or not!
a bit about myself...i manage a restaurant, i waitress, bartend and run like a wild woman. I also run my own jewelry design business - Carrie on Jewelry at http://www.dobeaddobeaddo.com AND (see the capitals for emphasis there....wooo) I also have a web design company as well.
as my grandma starkenburg used to say....no rest for the wicked.
oh yeah, and i'm trying to write a romance novel as well in my spare time. I'm on page 1.
today i made a new chainmaille bracelet...roses or some such from bead and button magazine...i don't care for it at all, so now its sitting on the floor as a cat toy. we have 7.5 cats. i'll tell you more about that later.
here's a bracelet i made tho this morning....it looks better on than it does in the photo...(most things do right? except victoria secret underwear)
i'm practicing asymetry......still need more practice right?
ok...i'm off to watch tv and have some popcorn....talk to ya lata gata!
